English Wine Week 2025 – Celebrating English Vineyards & Wines

Every summer, English Wine Week offers the perfect opportunity to explore the depth, quality, and passion behind England’s flourishing wine industry. This year, from 21st to 28th June, we raise a glass to the vineyards, vintners, and visitors who are helping to put English wine firmly on the global map.

The theme for English Wine Week 2025 is “Create New Traditions” – a celebration of how English wine is becoming an integral part of our culture, our celebrations, and our tables. For over 2,000 years, Britain imported wine. Now, we’re proudly making our own – and it turns out, we’re rather good at it.

At Lympstone Manor Estate Vineyard, we understand that great wine is inspired by tradition, but not bound by it. Our wines reflect the heritage of classic European styles, shaped by the unique soils and climate of our coastal Devon estate. We believe English wine isn’t just an alternative – it’s an exciting evolution. As more people discover the quality, character, and charm of homegrown wines, we encourage you to make the switch and drink English.

Whether you’re pairing a glass of crisp Bacchus with Friday night fish and chips, popping English sparkling to celebrate a special moment, or visiting a local vineyard as part of a weekend escape, you’re helping to create new traditions that champion local producers and sustainable choices.

Across the country, English vineyards are now producing award-winning still and sparkling wines, with chalk-rich soils and a cool climate that echo the Champagne region. From Sussex to Devon, each bottle tells the story of place, people, and passion. English Wine Week is your chance to taste, learn, and fall in love with what’s grown just down the road.

At Lympstone Manor Estate Vineyard, we’re proud to be part of this national celebration.

During English Wine Week experience an exceptional fine dining lunch with a complimentary glass of Lympstone Manor Estate Isabeau Rosé served as your aperitif. The menu is a taste of summer in East Devon and the wine pairings not only match the foods beautifully, they are true reflections of the quality and variety of wines now being produced from grapes grown in England.

English Wine Week 2025 is about more than what’s in the glass – it’s about connecting with the land, the makers, and a movement that’s changing how we think about wine. So this June, raise a glass to bold new beginnings, local vineyards, and the joy of discovering something distinctly English.

Join us to celebrate English Wine Week, and together let’s create new traditions – one bottle, one sip, one vineyard visit at a time!
